About the role of UI Designer Internship

The candidate will report directly to the Product Lead.  A strong base of design fundamentals with a willingness to learn is key.  As part of a small team, you’ll get a chance to lead design initiatives and see your work go from idea to production.

Key Qualifications

  • A portfolio of design work, including self-started projects
  • Exceptional visual, interaction, and product design talent
  • Solid understanding of design principles
  • Great design presentation skills, from the ability to walk through design thinking, to storytelling, to rolling with critical feedback
  • Advanced knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and similar, conventional tools
  • The ability to design without the above-listed conventional tools to effectively communicate ideas and concepts
  • Basic, working knowledge of HTML & CSS
  • Experience talking directly to users to gather structured usability feedback

Full Stack Web Developer (Python/Django)

Job Overview:

We are currently searching for a full-stack Python/Django developer ready to bring their skills to a driven startup team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Plan, architect, integrate, and develop back-end and database driven features using the Python language and frameworks (Django, Flask, Tornado).
  • Create decoupled, interactive web UIs using JavaScript (Angular, Ember, jQuery)
  • Aid in the development and ongoing maintenance of our DevOps platform (Ansible)
  • Provide technical advise and recommendations for language and software choices.
  • Develop code that is cross-browser and cross-platform friendly
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure all requirements are met
  • Evaluate technologies and manage technical planning
  • Support and ongoing development for existing projects

Technical Requirements:

  • At least 5+ years experience developing and deploying web sites and applications
  • Experienced with Django
  • Experience with Agile/SCRUM practices

  • Experience with MV* JavaScript development (Backbone.js, Angular a big bonus)
  • Some experience with DevOps practices and platforms

Computer Vision Engineer

Job Overview:

The ideal candidate for the Computer Vision Engineer position is ready to bring their skills to a driven startup team. The Computer Vision Engineer will research, develop, maintain, and build highly scalable CV/ML technologies that can analyze video feeds of users participating in online sessions and detect related anomalies.

Required Skills:

  • BS/MS in Computer Science or 3+ years of industry and/or research experience in relevant field
  • Concentration(s) in: Artificial Intelligence, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Image Processing, and/or Computer Graphics
  • Excellent skills developing in C/C++ and Python as well as significant experience working in a Linux environment
  • Experience with OpenCV, Numpy, SciPy, Sklearn, etc.

Job Overview:

Under minimal supervision, working with C-Level executives, drives end-to-end product development process.  Identifies and implements product strategies and oversees all aspects of product management to ensure that existing and new products meet company goals and expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and drive the product strategy and vision
  • Define and manage the product roadmap
